Liz Ambler: 5/5 Stars 17/01/2020 Mobility scooter Yesterday the 16/1/2020 I purchased a new mobility scooter. The service I received was excellent. The assistant who attended to me was perfect. She explained all about the scooter. Showing me and my husband how to dismantle the scooter for travel. She allowed me to drive around the car park outsider the store to get the feel of machine. She was very courteous and very pleasant. We were offered tea / coffee while we were in the store. A very pleasant experience all round. Martina Hana: 1/5 Stars 02/01/2020 Horrible product and unprofessional business Do not buy anything from this company! My mother in-law bought a chair which after 6 months caught on fire while she was sitting in it. Fully disabled, she was lucky to be with a carer that night who helped her out of the chair! I called the company and they charged me £60 only to get an engineer out there urgently. After a few days of waiting, they never made the appointment and I had to call an engineer myself. Despite the fact that the engineer determined that it was a faulty chair, the business refused to give us a refund despite the fact that the chair is under warranty. They insist only to repair the chair, with no guarantee the fire would not happen again. They treated us horribly and rudely each time; and putting us on hold for several minutes before answering the call, refusing to have me connected to the manager. After several phone calls, my phone bill was over £45 as i've just learned that their phone number isnt free to call (which was banned from companies to use in 2015 yet they still do it without warning to clients)! And, do you think they reimbursed me the £60 despite the promise they would once the engineer's report determine a faulty product (which it did)? No, i had to contact them yet another time to get the money back. Still waiting... I've never encountered a worse business and would highly recommend to stay away from buying any product from this unprofessional business. Very upsetting. CareCo has not yet responded. Steve Andrews: 1/5 Stars 04/12/2018 complete lack of interest from customer care having ordered a 3 wheeled walker earlier this year which is still well within warranty, one of the brake cables snapped causing my disabled wife to fall and rendering the item unusable due to having only one brake which makes it unsafe, I contacted the company and after phoning to query why I had received no response to my email I then received a response and after requesting either a replacement item (as this was obviously a defect) or an engineer visit as per the items webpage thats states engineer visit for warranty period (link below) "This product includes 12 months' in-home warranty, covering you for parts and labour, manufacturer faults and engineer callout." I was told an engineer would not call out for this fault ! I was eventually after a week sent a replacement part that I was expected to fit myself which was the incorrect part, I have been in touch including pictures to advise the incorrect part was supplied and to ask for this to be both corrected and escalated to resolve the issue , the mail was sent on Sunday and I chased on Monday yet I have still no response at all, I find this attitude for a company that provides mobility aids to be appalling, as a result my wifes mobility is still limited due to the lack of the walker that she uses to get around the house. Tresa Huband: 1/5 Stars 28/06/2019 Electric scooter We have been in touch with Careco over and over again about my 93 year old father-in-laws scooter which he bought from Careco. He has has no end of problems with it, we have emailed, phoned, and sent recorded delivery letter( with a standard answer not addressing the problem). The last call I was told an engineer would be out between 12-3 on the 28th of June , he didn’t turn up !!! Unfortunately I was out on a training course and did not know until I got home so to late to call. I’m outraged at a company with the name ‘Care’ co... they definitely don’t CARE!!!!
