Your Complete Savings Reviews
Joanie Pointer: 1/5 Stars 07/08/2019 Be wary when you see wly* completesaving.co.uk My daughter has just discovered that £15 has been debited from her account every month since September. She has contacted the company, who have sent her automated emails informing her about how to cancel her account. Although the company probably do have a number of benefits, my daughter cannot remember filling in a form to register with them or agreeing to their terms and conditions. She is a student and has not got enough money for her rent most months so she would not have knowingly signed up for a company that costs £15 per month to join. She would like a refund of £150 but does not know what more she can do to get it. Be wary of filling out extra forms when you buy online. Any advice about how she could get her money back would be gratefully received. Complete Savings responded on 30/10/2019: Hi Joanie, omplete Savings is an online savings programme for people who shop online regularly. The only way you can become a member is by entering your details on the sign-up form & agree to the terms & conditions of the programme. Please contact me directly at [email protected] if you and your daughter need assistance. Kind regards, Mary, The Complete Savings team Danielle McDonald: 1/5 Stars 16/11/2018 Unknowingly signed up and charged for membership!!! My partner ordered some train tickets for himself and I through trainline and appears to have unknowingly been signed up for a complete savings membership. Only been made aware of this today due to complete savings deducting money from his bank account. We were completely unaware this company even existed, never mind that they hold our bank details. Do you not think if we had signed up for a complete savings membership, which involves a monthly fee, that we would maybe use it??? This is completely unacceptable! You say the only way to become a member is by entering your details on the sign-up form and agreeing to the terms and conditions of the programme yet this is obviously not made clear?! How else do you explain so many consumers being unknowingly signed up, unaware a membership fee is being taken from their bank accounts? My partner has phoned complete savings today who were very rude and unhelpful, he was basically just fobbed off but I will not be fobbed off as it is very wrong what you are doing! We are not paying for something we have not used and did not sign up for! I await a response and instructions on how to claim a full refund. Many thanks Complete Savings has not yet responded. Ru Ong: 1/5 Stars 06/12/2018 Unaware signed up of complete savings Extremely shocked to discover that complete savings have been deducting £10 continuously for the last 5 years! I have emailed and asked for a refund but they only gave back a month worth of the refund. And they said I joined the membership after completing the travelodge online transaction. This isn’t fair to the consumers and I can’t afford to lose this £600. Complete Savings has not yet responded. James Dunbar: 1/5 Stars 02/03/2019 Avoid this company at all costs. Shortly after making a purchase on any number of sites you will often see an ad for a company called Complete Savings. They offer discounts at various online shops. Do not sign up for this. Don't even click on any of their links. Simply by filling out a form and giving them your email address you will be signing up to their service, and if you sign up for their 'service' (which I have never used) you will the be agreeing to allow them to surreptitiously debit your card £15 per month unless you actively call them an cancel it. I feel that this was not made clear to me. I would like a full refund. I will also be taking this up with the ombudsman. Complete Savings has not yet responded.
