Peter Stewart: 1/5 Stars 17/11/2018 DVLA FINES JAGUAR OWNER FOR LATE PAYMENT A Jaguar car owner is fined by DVLA when the car is in garage having repairs done. I have been fined by the DVLA the car was locked up in the traders garage for repairs having been taken off the road the repairs have been carried out but I am being forced to pay £80 FINE the garage made good the repairs and new mot given. I was unaware the car had to be sworn although only for a short time. The car is back on my driveway why! are they robbing me for no criminal or driving offence has been committed. This is daylight robbery. DVLA has not yet responded. Allan Owen: 1/5 Stars 17/06/2019 Rip off If you try to phone a DVLA they have a premium number outrageous not only are they taking money off innocent people who can't defend themselves because it's their way or the Highway I've got a dispute with them and I can't even argue my case their so-called appeal is dealt with internally how the heck is that supposed to be fair DVLA has not yet responded. Janice Bull: 1/5 Stars 17/07/2019 Motor caravan conversion Sent a new V5C after 3 months of stress to get my bus converted to motor caravan last week. This week have been sent a letter saying that it shouldn't have been sent, as my vehicle still looks like a bus (it is a legal requirement if you have had all the internal work done for it to be altered on the V5C) but DVLA have now changed their mind after a review. I wasn't told it could be subject to a review once sent. I have given up my job and paid for a ferry costing £600 in order to travel to europe in it, now don't even know if I can insure it now. I have sent a complaint but hold out little hope as they are no frups given civil servants. DVLA - a pimple on the posterior of humanity DVLA has not yet responded.
