S K: 1/5 Stars 13/01/2017 Incompetent and unhelpful Absolutely disappointed with a recent delivery attempt made by DX. I am expecting the delivery of my daughter's passport from the passport office. The delivery was supposed to be made by today (Friday the 13th Jan). This morning I received as SMS informing me that a delivery was attempted. This came as a surprise as I have been at home all morning. Upon calling the DX helpline I was informed that the delivery was in fact attempted yesterday. Again, very surprising since I was at home all day yesterday, only leaving to go out in the evening (after 6.30pm). My issue here is that nobody rang the buzzer or tried to give me a call to say that the delivery was being attempted. Having been at home, I believe that the courier either did not attempt delivery at all, or rang the buzzer at the wrong address. Since we travel on Monday the 16th Jan, it was imperative that we received the passport by today (I even paid for the fast track service at the passport office). When speaking to a customer service agent at DX, I was only given the option of delivery tomorrow (between 9-5) or Monday. Plus, the lady was not at all interested in helping or trying to understand my predicament. This meant that I haf to (for a third day) stay at home all day waiting for the delivery. I am not able to pick up the passport from the DX depot since I am asked for a utility bill. Given that we're staying in a short-let serviced apartment, I do not possess any such bills. I then opted (and had to pay an additional £6.37) for a timed delivery between 9am-1pm tomorrow, but am not happy with this, especially since I believe that I am being penalised for someone else's mistake/incompetence. Plus the fact that I need to wait an additional day to receive such an important and urgent document. I still have to book my daughter's flight tickets (ours are booked but for hers we required a valid passport) and this has put me in an unacceptable position, all because of an incompetent delivery service! DX has not yet responded. D Meena: 1/5 Stars 22/02/2017 Hypothetical delivery attempt i was expecting 3 deliveries yesterday and at home whole day to accept them. At 3 pm received a sms saying "DX has attempted to deliver your item", which is not true at all. i have been asked to reschedule delivery for next day, which i did eventually but again i am suspicious about this trend when no one showed up and claimed to attempted the delivery. I have called in today morning to know the update but not to avail and advisor was not happy to cooperate but keep on saying it should be delivered today anytime between 9-5pm. To my shock, she also mentioned yesterday driver attempted delivery at 12:30pm which is a joke. me, mywife whole family was at home and no one showed up or buzz the bell. DX has not yet responded. They then pretend they tried to deliver the package which they didn’t. I need this to go away on a trip. No one answers the phone and it’s impossible to get a response from anyone. DX has not yet responded. Jan Longston: 1/5 Stars 19/08/2019 Customer service clueless, no delivery Customer service promised delivery on a certain day. Been waiting at home all day and it is now very late in the afternoon. Tracking shows that the parcel has not even been scanned in the van yet. Absolutely rubbish company. The customer service on Twitter cannot even read their own tracking info. Avoid like plague. DX has not yet responded. Amanda Astill: 1/5 Stars 20/11/2017 Zero Stars for DX delivery DX were trusted by UKVI with the delivery of my new BRP card. I had a trip to Europe planned and could not leave the country without it. The initial delivery driver never rang the doorbell or left a delivery card. After 7 business days I attempted to locate my documents as I had flights to catch, but they stated on numerous occasions they had noting under my name or post code. After 10 business days, and missed flights, it was located. A delivery sitcker had been placed over my name and they had my middle name as my last name on their system. I requested next morning delivery and rebooked my flights, but the document was still not delivered until 3pm the following day. I wasted 5 days of holidays from full time work and lost money on my holiday due to a series of errors from this company. If the initial delivery driver had done his job properly I would never have missed my initial flights. This is a 0star service and they should not be trusted with sensitive personal documents.
