Daniel Perriton: 1/5 Stars 13/02/2018 Deleting from your email data base! For over a month I have asked to removed from your data base and still the irritation of daily emails arrive. There is no likelihood of ever using your company as your feed back is appalling,at least you have the honesty of publishing them. Eckman has not yet responded. Pat Dare: 1/5 Stars 25/01/2018 Telephone bill and there attitude I phoned eckman as my husband who has not long died bought a telescopic hedge trimmer and branch lopper, my brother went to use it on my hedge for me but it would not stay up, so since its still in guarantee till 26th Feb., thought I would phone them and ask there advice, after keeping me waiting on the phone for about 8 mins they answered and told me to go on line to the support team , when I checked my phone bill next day found out they had charged me over £7 for the privilege of talking to them asked for my money back and they refused, they should have put a warning about there charges I would never have phoned them. the support team told me the parts department would contact me, but 2 days later they sent me the part, so I emailed them and thanked them a day later I get a email asking for the money, I have told them if they want it back to send a prepaid sticker as I am not paying for something I did not order and still have a guarantee disgusting service and company. Colin Leslie: 1/5 Stars 06/09/2017 Took my money but then no communicationa and no product I ordered a ladder brace on 2nd August and received an order confirmation. The money (£84.98) was taken from my card. Heard nothing for two weeks so called them up to be told that the item was out of stock. Evidently they expected product on 28th August and so I was told that delivery would be made first week of September. I made the point that if they had told me it was out of stock when I made the order I could have got it from somewhere else. 6th September I still had heard nothing so I called them again to be told that the item was out of stock but they were expecting a delivery on (surprise, surprise) the 28th September. Again I made the point as to how I am meant to know that if they do not inform me. I asked for my money to be refunded as I cannot wait another month on the off chance they will supply the item and won't just fob me off with more excuses. I can get it through another company who have promised delivery within a week. It appears refunding money is a game in itself as i cannot expect it to appear in my card account for another week. I live in hope that I have more luck getting my money back than I had getting the item or any information from their Sales team Eckman has not yet responded. Michael Lindsell: 1/5 Stars 16/08/2017 My eckman pole/hand electric chain saw has a gearing designed fault. 15 uses then drive failed. I purchased an Eckman garden pole/hand chainsaw model EMFC1 manufacture model GY9400. Used it 15 times on small light garden jobs. Its internal drive then failed. Electric motor works but chain blade does not move. This model has a poorly aligned mechanical two cog gear drive, which when operated/moving, causes the larger mechanical drive cog teeth on chain drive to be damaged and then no drive to cutting chain. Harry Wilson: 2/5 Stars 14/06/2017 Harry Wilson Got a lot of the customer service team asking me my date of birth and my home address this went on for weeks I would like to think my email to head office was acknowledged because a couple of days later l received a phone call from Customer services saying l would get my refund in a couple days which I did.
