hazel mulholland: 1/5 Stars 29/10/2016 DO NOT BUY FISCHER FUTURE HEAT STORAGE HEATERS I dealt with Fischer on behalf of an elderly relative. A £1300 deposit was taken on an order of £4000 for 2 heaters. The salesman said it could cancelled any time. The paperwork said a 14 day cancellation period but she did not understand that when signing. Installation was supposed to take place within 5 weeks. They had to be chased after 5 weeks for a date. The engineers did not turn up and no communication took place to say why. It was up to the customer to make contact and another date was given. Again the engineers did not turn up, this time being informed at the last minute . Another date was given and again it was cancelled. The customer is a pensioner, newly widowed, and the stress of the way she was treated made her ill. After the third no show she wanted to cancel the order. The company categorically refused to refund the £1300. The customer relations department also categorically refused to pass the complaints letters to the chief exec to whom the letters were addressed. It was abundantly clear that their sales tactics are to promise the earth, draw in the customer and then once they have the money, they have you trapped. These heaters are expensive. Do not be fooled by the sales pitch. Once they have you a change of mind can be very expensive. Fischer Future Heat has not yet responded. Donald Wells: 1/5 Stars 13/09/2017 DO NOT BUY FROM FISCHER FUTURE HEAT UK LTD We have had problems with Fischer Future Heat UK LTD since we purchased the heaters at a price of £3700. We placed the order which took 7 weeks to be delivered, then when we got them they did not heat the room sufficiently enough. The only thing we got from Fischer Future Heat UK LTD is if you have any problems then "contact out customer support line". Fischer Future Heat UK LTD then told us the 14-day cancellation period is from when you place the order not when you get the product, which goes against Consumer Contract Regulation 2013. We also tried to claim under Consumer Rights Act 2015 as the heaters where not fit for purpose or as described. We were in the process of taking Fischer Future Heat UK LTD to SMALL CLAIMS COURT, we had issued the papers and it had been placed with the local small claims court. It is only then that Fischer Future Heat UK LTD have decided to give a part refund as we are elderly (in our 80’s) and after another Engineer from Fischer Future Heat UK LTD came and confirmed they put the construction of the building wrong. Two heating Engineers came to our property expecting to just pick the heaters up, once it was explained what they needed to do and that the heaters where not leaving the property until the agreed amount of funds where in our Bank Account it took about 20 minutes to sort out. Once again do not deal with Fischer Future Heat UK LTD, Fischer Future Heat UK LTD have tried it on with us and with the help from a friend we have now hopefully seen the end of Fischer Future Heat UK LTD. If anyone would like to see the paperwork about this as proof of what I have stated above then please contact me to discuss. Even though FISCHER have stated “heaters installed in a conservatory are not guaranteed to heat your room above 19°C due to the structural nature and the possible changes within the room”. They still sold us the ineffective heaters, for a conservatory stating it would cut heating bills etc. Having looked on-line I have found that FISCHER have different rulings against them for advertising and for what they state their products can do. Jeanette Bryce: 1/5 Stars 23/02/2019 Electricity bill sky rocketed after installation I recently had 4 heaters fitted with the promise of cheaper bills and lower usage. My bills have trebled and i am scared to use the heaters. Something is very wrong and my daughter said the usage is through the roof. Something i very wrong and i will be getting this investigated Fischer Future Heat has not yet responded. JB Savage: 1/5 Stars 30/12/2018 Still not working A few months on from my previous complaint and my Fischer heaters are still not working. No response from the Fischer team even though they replied to a complaint saying I had not contacted them. They have been closed over Christmas so as you can imagine no working heating in part of the house has not been ideal. My recommendation is not to have Fischer. Jon Henderson: 1/5 Stars 09/05/2018 Mis sold We bought two heaters after a survey, the salesman assured us they ran off both day and night rates as we are all electric and have two fuse boards. On fitting we found them both wired into the day rate fuse box! Therefore making them expensive to run, we have been trying since the 23rd April to get someone to speak to us regarding getting them taken out as they were mis sold, were still waiting!!
