John Coleman: 1/5 Stars 10/07/2019 Subscriptions taken after cancellation my complaint is much the same as everyone else here. I cancelled my subscription but surprise surprise they have no record of me doing this or receiving an email through their site which I sent informing them of the problem. They did reply to the second email as I cancelled the subscription AGAIN! However they completely dismissed my request for a refund even though they can clearly see that I had not logged on to the site during this time! Yes I understand that checking my bank statement is my responsibility but I also think when you have a clear case of someone not using their service they should at least make some sort of offer if for nothing more than customer satisfaction and if they had done so I would not be writing this now! Forces War Records has not yet responded. John Dunstan: 1/5 Stars 13/06/2018 War forces records Unsolicited money withdrawl Having found this site with similar complaints about Fortces War Records I thought I would now continue to make others wary of this site. In February I accepted their two week free trial and the continued with a subscription of £8.95 a month in April using their website I went into my account and using their auto renew or cancel subscription I switched off auto renew and saved the change, because I was out of the country for 2 months, thinking my subscription was cancelled until today (13/6/18) checking my bank statement only to find like others that April, May, and no doubt June also deducted. Going into my War forces account and checking it only to find auto renew still switched on. Went through turning off procedure as I did in April and saved the changes, going back into my account again and finding auto renew switched on again, this being a website fault contacted customer Srevice ???? and got a generic answer after explaining as I have above. Forces War Records has not yet responded. Linda Hicklin: 1/5 Stars 14/05/2019 Unable to cease subscription for the last 4/5 months I have been trying to stop subscriptions, my husband is no longer capable of understanding much now, but gets extremely frustrated and upset at his bank statements...I'm finding hard to explain to him your inability to cooperate with me on this matter, I have sent numerous emails and never had a response, I am going to have to hide these latest bank statements as I do not want husband to get upset yet again,, if I don't hear from you by Thursday I will let my bank get in touch with you....pleases respond ASAP, thank you..Linda hicklin.
