Angel-Blue Dolly: 1/5 Stars 28/08/2019 Sparks flying Last night my partner and my 7 month old son was in our room when they switched one of your fans on. As they done this sparks started coming out of the fan. This really shook us up that night, lucky no one was hurt/severely injured however I am horrified and this should have never happened in the first place. Fridgemaster has not yet responded. Hayley Hall: 1/5 Stars 19/09/2016 Fridgemaster warranty Called by a call centre in county durham regarding my Fridgemaster warranty expiration. They wanted to extend it for 4 years. I said politely that I wasn't interested and that my home insurance covered it. The lady on the phone took offence to this and tried to "scaremonger" me in to a purchase by saying "You are taking a very big risk. You want to hope nothing goes wrong with your fridge", more the way she said it as well. Very rude. How do they expect to gain sales through this technique! Won't purchase from them again. Nik Ashworth: 1/5 Stars 20/04/2018 Fridgemaster outdoors fridge almost 3 years to the day we purchased a brand new fridgemaster 300l MTL55300 for approx £249 del. A few weeks ago we noticed the temp was rising so we adjusted the thermostat and left it. A few days later it had risen to 15 deg inside the fridge and had spoiled some meat. I have had the fridge off and done all that is supposed to be done (clean the coils, check the evap hole is clear, check the back for debris or leaks, make sure its level etc...) it still does not work and i am now being told i have to pay in excess of £120-150 for a repair, on a product that gets little use (mostly holds 6 wine and 10-12 beer cans) and is in exactly the same position our last beko fridge stood for almost 12 years without fault! in this day and age for a product to fail within 3 years is hopeless, poor build quality or products? Leslie Keates: 1/5 Stars 20/02/2017 Fridgemaster Fridge Purchased a Fridgemaster MTL55250 2.5 years ago and the Thermostat has gone already . Tried to contact Fridgemaster but impossible you just get put through to their repair agents . Apparently there is no such manufacturer as Fridgemaster they are made by Hisense. I have had fridges in the past that have lasted years and then been passed on to someone else . These seem to be poor quality . Would like to purchase the Thermostat or better still Fridgemaster send me 1 FOC . . Fridgemaster has not yet responded.
