Josephine Noble: 1/5 Stars 24/01/2018 Holiday cost I booked a holiday with hays travel for NYE 2018 paying a deposit, i changed my mind and decided to change destinations, i priced the new holiday up on the website for £2300 and rang Hays travel to change. Because it was an amendment they wanted £50 per person admin fee which was ok but for the same holiday they wanted over 4000£ because i was not a new customer. no complaints procedure in place. disgusting will never book with Hays again Hays Travel has not yet responded. Roger Hawes: 1/5 Stars 25/03/2017 Paid £1300 more for a 12 night holiday in Gran Canaria than another English couple there. Same board We found out after talking with another English couple at the Hotel we stayed at in Gran Canaria. Travel times March 5th - 16th that they paid £2500.00 for their holiday booked with Jet2.com through a travel agent. We stayed at the hotel for 12 nights travel time March 5th - March 17th 2017 so our booking was one more night but we paid £3863.00. How come such a huge difference. We went into Hays Travel Winchester today to ask them WHY, but, they came up with so many various excuses it was embarrassing, and said basically you accepted the price, Tough. How can one travel company get away with putting on so much money. I know various things affect the cost but £1300 more. Same all inclusive, same sea view room same flight time, but travelling with J2.com from Manchester and we travelled from Gatwick with Easy Jet. Your response would be apprecited.
