David Preston 09/04/2021 TAKE ME OFF YOUR MAILING LIST I was with HomeServe UK for 15 years during this time the price was slowly increasing, when it reached £130 I decided to cancel after awhile they got the message: two months had pasted when they cancelled my account. YEPPEeeeeeeeeeeee. One week later HomeServe UK sent me a Wonderful offer of £5 per month if I came back. Very good offer a saving of £95 per year so why did they not give me this rate over the last 15 years. Today 9th April 2021 I have received yet another OFFER of £1 per month for the next full year, WOW I AM BLOWN WAY just think of all the money I have wasted with HomeServe UK. They cannot remove my from there mailing list I have tried 3 time yet they keep sending these offers. Top of the letter Let us be there for you again with plumbing cover for (my address) DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF THEY CAN SUPPLY THE SAME SERVICE FOR £1 A MONTH AND CHARGE MUCH HIGHER PRICES FOR LONE TERM CUSTOMER THEY ARE INSULTING THERE LONG TERM CUSTOMERS Naghat Rehman: 5/5 Stars 25/01/2020 Drainage He went beyond the call off duty credit to homeserve .Thanku Leonard Showell: 1/5 Stars 25/01/2018 Missed appointments On Monday22/01/18 I rang Homeserve and requested a appointment for a engineer to visit my home address to identify and correct a fault with the combi- boiler/water supply Because I have 1 policy covering the boiler and another covering home emergency I first spoke to the boiler cover team and explained that I was unsure what the fault was but when the engineer attended at an earlier date to complete a health check on the boiler he advised to wait until winter when the system would be in full running mode and to see if the problem was still evident, which it is. the agent informed me that I should have notified them within 24 hrs. of engineers visit and if I still wanted a engineer to visit I would have to pay excess.I refused and asked to be transferred to complaints dept .At this point I was spoke too by a agent from the plumbing team who agreed too make a appointment for a engineer to visit and try and identify the fault, the appointment was made for 24/01/18 between 0800-1200noon I did not receive a visit nor a call from the engineer as promised if he was running late. At 1155hrs. I rang to ask why I had not received either and was given no reason but was offered a further appointment between 1630hrs.-2200 that day once again no engineer no call to say why? Next day 25/01/18 I rang and complained and spoke to agent who registered an expression of dissatisfaction. I have been a customer of Homeserve for many years including recommending them to family and friends but I afraid this will no longer apply. Homeserve has not yet responded. Ray Lyon: 1/5 Stars 06/12/2018 Dissatisfied Homeserve Insurance for sofa which I only have had for 1 year and the seam has burst on a cushion but they will not replace under insurance although it clearly states in policy ripped or torn seams. Unbelievable and misold policy as it is useless for such a small fix of another cushion cover. Please avoid disappointment don't go with homeserve. Homeserve has not yet responded. Allie Foran: 1/5 Stars 18/12/2017 Failure to carry out job Dear Sirs. It was arranged for an engineer to visit my property today. 17/12/17. between 0800 and 1300hrs. My boiler was leasking, and I was informed I was covered for an engineer to visit, isolate thew leak, then I would be able to pay for a one-off payment for the repair. The engineer arrived at 13.00hours, and promptly told me, he was not allowed to isolate the leak. he was not allowed to touch the boiler. I asked him, why they had sent him. he replied, that he didnt know. This has been a deplorable service. I have spent all afternoon ringing all different people to have it re-arranged. Peter Storey: 1/5 Stars 17/07/2017 Failure to attend appointment I am very annoyed about the technicians failure to attend my address as agreed to attend to a problem with my sofa, I did not receive any information that the visit would have to be cancelled on the agreed date as arranged which resulted in me loosing pay from work having to wait in at my address all afternoon , I have been in touch with homeserve to make a complaint and was told due to a technical fault the technician was unable to attend , dispite the fact they had my telephone number I did not receive any information from them about the cancelled visit and refused to make up for my loss of earnings, a verbal agreement is the same as a written agreement and in my opinion they have breached the agreement between both parties, Homeserve has not yet responded.
