Michelle Thomas: 1/5 Stars 03/01/2020 HOOVER, Heat Pump Tumble Dryer - oh so DISAPPOINTED… HOOVER, Heat Pump Tumble Dryer - oh so DISAPPOINTED… On 11th December 2019 I called Customer Service to ask for advise. I explained I purchased a heat Pump Tumble Dryer in September 2018 (15 months ago). I have used this machine INfrequently over the last year but noticed recently that water was no longer collecting in the container on the inside of the door. The Advisor explained that this could be a sensor fault and an engineer would need to be called out at my cost of £129. As you can imagine I am not only disappointed that this machine has a possible fault so soon after purchase but also that I should be asked to pay for the repair. I have since had an email confirming this information. I am extremely unhappy about the quality of this product - it was an expensive item and it is not fit for use after such a short amount of time. Customer service is only interested in fixing me into a care plan or engineer visit with no regard to my individual circumstance. Lesson: DO NOT BUY a HOOVER heat pump tumble dryer !!! Hoover has not yet responded. L T: 1/5 Stars 02/12/2019 Hoover repairs On 01/10/19 my hoover washer dryer was leaking so I called up Hoover customer services as the machine is still under warranty to arrange a repair, an engineer came on 03/10/19 however no work was carried out due to him needing to order a part. I was told he would be back the following week to carry out the repair. Which he never did. Two whole months have since past and I'm still without a machine. They have exhausted every excuse possible. The one part i was originally was needed has now turned to 3 parts. I been told the engineer has called in sick and the part/s are on his van. The engineer has massaged me himself via text to say he was attended on a set day/time but never shown up. I've taken several days off work, spent alot of time and money in the laundrette. This machine was funded through family fund and charity helping families with disabled children, I really heavily on this appliance due to my child having soiling clothes. It's been hugely stressful and to this day I'm still been told they are still "waiting on a part". This is completely unacceptable Hoover has not yet responded. Nicola Johnson: 1/5 Stars 15/05/2019 Terrible company Hi I would like to make a complaint about a dryer I bought and your staff thinking it’s acceptable for me to have to pay for an engineer after a brand new dryer I bought has broken twice within just over 12 months. I bought the dryer on 30th March 2018 which was delivered 3rd April 2018 for nearly £300 and by October it had broke so someone came out and fixed it and just over 6 months later it’s now broken again and your company think it’s acceptable for this to happen. Twice within just over 6 months of each other it has broke and it’s just wrong for a product of this price to do that. Now I’m being made to pay a fee to get someone out AGAIN and then in another few months it will break again. To me this just looks like a money making scam on your company’s behalf to make more money from people. I’ve been researching these products for the last 2 days and there’s 100’s of posts in forums, websites and social media regarding your products and them breaking so easily. I will not be letting this drop, your just scamming people out of their hard earned money and your products aren’t up to a decent standard to match the prices. Never have I heard of a brand new product breaking that many times within such a short timescale. Please contact me regarding my complaint above. Hoover has not yet responded. Lindsay Harris: 1/5 Stars 21/08/2019 Hoover tumble dryer The worst company that I have dealt with ever, I bought a tumble dryer condenser with heat pump , luckily my wife was at home when the machine made a sparking noise slowed down with a strong burning smell and smoke coming out of the top , that was bad enough so after phoning hoover they sent an engineer out three days later to find there was and electrical component had burnt out and said that he did not carry the part but would order new one that was fine not a problem with that. Well after a month with numerous phone calls one of them verging on being rude, from saying that the part was out of stock then it had been sent to the engineer it was going to be more than a week to fit it pretty poor I though, ,however I spoke to my local supplier who was very helpful and told me that it had taken more than 28 day to repair and I was entitled put it back and get a replacement machine, and certainly not a hoover Hoover has not yet responded. Stephen Sterry: 1/5 Stars 17/01/2018 Emails of them keep getting emails asking for a review on product , and have no way of telling you idiots i have not bought anything of you , so put a bad review in and then you say you don't want to publish it , so please call me email me or something but stop send these stupid emails.
