Tom Meh: 1/5 Stars 25/09/2019 Left sleeping on the floor for 3 weeks I have bought a bed and mattress from this company and this took almost 2 months to come through. The order was wrong and had to go back, multiple times due to incorrect delivery and left me sleeping on the floor for more than 3 weeks. The customer service was shockingly bad and nobody was managing my problem without me calling everyday to chase, I was promised call backs that never happened and frequently the orders did not come on the days stated and no delivery details were provided other than the day. In total I have made more than 20 phone calls to try and sort this out, I have had to talk to two manufacturers, 3 delivery companies and Land of Beds to get this sorted. This order has cost me over £270 more in lost work hours trying to be about for deliveries that didn’t happen and worst of all this caused my disabled son to be unable to leave the house in his power chair during the 3 weeks + that the incorrect bed parts have been sat in my hallway (the only safe place to put it) I have not been compensated for my incurred costs. Land of Beds has not yet responded. Maria Jones: 5/5 Stars 30/09/2019 Spot on service Spot on shopping experience from start to finish and the delivery team were polite and well mannered. Colin Bradbury: 1/5 Stars 05/04/2018 Land of dreads A shop that cannot be relied upon !!! When things go wrong this company is not there for you. So please beware : As your probably aware the brand Dormeo give a 60 night sleep guarantee. Well please be aware if you need to use this option and have purchaced through land of beds you do not get the sàme guarantee as you do if you buy anywhere else. For example dormeo will offer an alternative or refund . With land of beds they will only offer exchange and charge you £75 for the pleasure . However they will not even do this unless you have bought a mattress protector in the same purchace as your mattress . When asked where all this was stated . It is burried in the terms and conditions . This is a very devious way of doing things . All I expect is to be told upfront about things like this . I can honestly say I will never frequent this shop again and will let everyone I can know of the underhanded practices going on. Land of Beds has not yet responded. Marcel Bechara: 1/5 Star 06/02/2018 Awful experience/waste of money All the staff members at the CallCenter were so willing and helpful and till they persuaded me to buy the bed. They convinced me that my warrantee would cover any issues that would come up with the bed especially as I paid for three year one. I weighed 85 kg and I’ve had the bed for six months. One day I just sit on the bed and I hear a crack. I spoke to my neighbour who fixes furniture and told me that that was just poorly made. When I tried to get my warrantee to cover this they said that it’s not a manufacturers fault. Awful customer service and obviously they only care about getting the money when they sell the product . Dennis Oldfield: 1/5 Stars 05/04/2017 Mattress sold as all natural fillings when delivered it contained a large amount of polyester I believe I have been wronged by Land of Beds as they sold me a Hypnos mattress the Larkspur as a totally naturally filled mattress with cotton, silk, wool and cashmere. The sales person Holly assured me it was totally natural.Confirmed in an email. Upon arrival the mattress was immediately hot to sleep in. After contacting Hypnos and Land of beds it eventually emerged that the mattress contained a lot of polyester. This polyester which is then blended with pieces of cotton and strands of cotton is supposed to be the cooler side of the mattress. After much discussion Hypnos agreed to exchange the mattress for any that I would like to choose but, again after much protracted and dilatory exchange of emails with Land of Beds they could not provide me with what was exactly in any of the Hypnos mattresses, only to say that all Hypnos mattresses now contain polyester. As I cannot sleep-in a polyester made bed, I have asked for my money to be refunded as the product was sold to me wrongly, it was not wholly made of natural materials but contained a large proportion of Polyester. Land of Beds has refused this request and now says they cannot help me further. Land of Beds has not yet responded.
