Julie Page: 3/5 Stars 30/11/2019 Wrong delivery date Ordered flowers to arrive on my daughters birthday confirmation by e mail that this would happen order did not arrive no attempt to advise me they would not be delivered on correct day when I rung to complain dident really get a reason why and flatly refused to make good by sending out a few more flowers because they failed their part of the contract not at all happy with"customer service " rude and unhelpful so I would suggest that if you want flowers delivered on a certain day DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY...I WONT AGAIN! Lovely Flora World has not yet responded. Claire Etherington: 1/5 Stars 30/01/2019 Disappointing lies I placed and order for what looked like a lovely bunch of flowers for my mothers birthday. The flowers arrived three days after the date they were supposed to and all badly wilted & half the size of what was advertised. I was told I would be given a refund, and told that the refund of £17.99 would be in my bank account by last Friday, this hasn’t happened. The company aren’t replying to my emails. I was disappointed as they were a gift which I thought would be a nice surprise for my Mum. I would definitely not use them again & wish I had read the reviews before ordering from them. I am reporting the company to trading standards. Lovely Flora World has not yet responded. Story by Fred Isaac 28/08/2015 Customers raise concerns over online flower seller Lovely Flora World Customers of bouquet seller Lovely Flora World have complained about a range of problems including failed deliveries and decaying flowers. The company's website promises beautiful and lovingly made bouquets, and the bonus of free delivery with every order. Shoppers can choose from imaginatively named arrangements such as ‘Lollipop Star’ or ‘Golden Sunshine Bouquet’. Lovely Flora World even goes as far as declaring: “Whether you are sending a bouquet to celebrate a special event, make your mother feel extra-special, say I'm sorry, or just to say hello, we've got you covered”. Lovely Flora World doesn't deliver goods But, according to A Spokesman Said users, these promises fail to blossom into reality. Florin Danila thought a bouquet would make a nice gift for a friend. “I sent some flowers to someone very dear to me on her birthday”, said Florin. “But four days after the delivery date the flowers had not arrived. Shame on Lovely Flora World - I want my money back”. Another customer, June Axon, also claims the flowers she paid for never turned up. “I ordered flowers to be delivered on August 3rd. “They never arrived and, after a few emails, Lovely Flora World would not say if they had been delivered or not. “Eventually, they told me to ask the recipient if they had got them, which I did not want to do as they were a surprise. "They didn't answer my emails when I asked for a refund, so all contact ceased”. And June has a word of warning for potential customers: “I wish I had read the reviews before ordering as they are all damning. Lesson learnt”. Rotten luck But failed deliveries aren't even the root of the problem. Customers who DID receive their orders have claimed the flowers arrived decaying, drooping and, in some cases, already dying. Zoe Pritchard described her experience ordering bouquets for her wedding. “I ordered two bunches of flowers to be specifically delivered on the morning of my wedding. “They were gifts for the mother of the bride and mother of the groom. “I was very impressed with the photos online. “The flowers arrived the day before the wedding, but were half the size of the bunches in the pictures”. And Zoe claims they didn’t last long. “As soon as we received the flowers they were kept in water. “But they were not even a week old when they started drooping. “My mum has never seen such poor quality flowers; and certainly has never seen ones that die so quickly”. Zoe is not alone; Nicole Gorman has also expressed disappointment at the quality of both the service and the flowers. “I ordered some flowers for my mum with first class delivery, and expected them to turn up the next day”, said Nicole. “But they arrived five days later rotten and mouldy – that’s £37 down the drain”. Brenda Jones added her complaint to the bunch, saying her flowers arrived "almost dead", with "petals and flower heads falling off". "They were nothing like the photo advert, and looked like a cheap bunch of flowers from the local supermarket", said Brenda. "I sent an email to complain and was told the flowers were OK - but they were not! They were a total waste of money - no apology or even part refund". Misleading pictures were also a problem for Paul Evans. “The flowers I ordered were not what was shown on the website. “They showed a lovely bouquet and a large happy birthday balloon, but what I received was half the size of the bouquet in the picture”. Like June, Paul says he found it very difficult to get through to anyone at Lovely Flora World. “I sent them an email to which I received an automated response stating the complaints procedure. “I’ve had no response from the company – I just really want my money back”. What next? In total, seven customers have demanded a fair response from Lovely Flora World to their complaints. Whether you’re Vodafone or Virgin, a flower seller or a travel agency, things always go wrong. It’s how a company handles complaints that counts.
