Kerry Ann: 1/5 Stars 09/05/2019 Poor building and customer care We have had nothing but issues since we reserved our plot in January 2017. We finally moved into our house June 2017 and the issues we have faced with how our house was poorly finished has been emotionally upsetting and draining. We have had walls knocked back to breeze block, mould / damp, flooring replaced number of times, ceiling paint peeling .. to name a few. There is too much to mention on here .. We are constantly chasing Persimmon customer care & having to CC David Griffin the manager before we get a reply. A new manager Paul came out before Xmas & agreed of the conditions of work still required and token compensation work to be done which we are still waiting for, we are constantly lied too, fobbed off and currently have a lot of unfinished work ie: no ceiling paint in ensuite & half the skirting board glossed in bathroom as that’s what they were instructed to do. The skirting boards all have dust glossed to them, Paul initially stated they would re sand and wipe and gloss, technicians came saying told to just patch up where could!!!! Was told I’d grt an extra working drawer and tiles kitchen December as kitchen has been fitted incorrectly and not straight / level / central (a drawer bangs against another and only have 1 and 2 half drawers working) Not had this done and been told cant have drawer done even though someone has looked saying it can be done & no contact about tiles. Paul was meant to ring me back Thursday before Easter weekend, still had nothing from Persimmon at all!!!! I am at my wits end :( I have all emails and correspondence and feel someone higher than west mids persimmon needs to come sit and meet with us. I have enclosed just a snippet of emails and photos. I have been constantly stressed, worried and anxious waiting and waiting for emails / calls to discuss works to be done, they don’t come ... therefore I am having to constantly chase them up ... I have chest problems following a house fire I was in at work and can’t breathe in fumes so have been put out with the large and remedial works having to leave all windows and doors open to reduce the effects which have still effected my chest. We have both had to give up numerous days off to wait in for customer care technicians, some that haven’t turned up till 10 and leaving at 3!! We have also had to put out daughter in holiday club on holiday occasions as unfair for her to sit in all day with painting / works going on. It has really upset us and we do not want to buy a new house again, and say this to anyone we talk to. Contact us and discuss all our complaints, take us seriously ... See the problems we have and are facing. Compensation for all the issues we’ve had acknowledge that Persimmon are wrong. I don’t want to go public, but I will. Persimmon Homes has not yet responded. Kimmy Pia: 1/5 Stars 17/10/2018 Incompetent and useless Persimmon Homes are an absolute crock of s**t. I have had noting but trouble since before we moved in, from not being completed on time to being told an absolute 100% move in date and then been told again its being delayed AGAIN, we were nearly homeless because the sales advisor told us a date so we handed in the tenancy agreement then he whined like a teenager telling me it wasn't his fault no one communicated with him. Had to move into a house with the pipes for the washer capped off and had to chase them for almost a week just to be able to put the washing machine on! The electric shower that we paid over £900 for doesnt work and they keep saying its the company who make them that need to sort it and the company that make them say its Persimmon that need to fix it. We have been here over 3weeks and we are yet to use the shower because it still doesn't work. Last but no means least (yes there is a longer list but tgese are the main things) I have been waiting for my driveway to be relayed, they got half way through and didnt finish, have come up with some c**k and bull story promising it will be finished today, I gave a garage key to the site manager so it can be fixed. Ive just got home from a 12.5hour shift to find they couldnt be bothered to sort it out! To say I'm annoyed is an understatement. Persimmon Homes has not yet responded. Michael Ranson: 1/5 Stars 29/10/2018 Ignorant customer services, endless punctures & poor build, no quality Once they have sold their product and they have your money, they will totally ignore you. Their customer services are non existant. Swept under the carpet and forgotten about. My daughters bought a house from them against my advise as they had appalling reviews for their building quality and customer services as well as warranty issues. The internal build was poor. coming from a non building trade but construction industry myself, i picked up loads of poor install and quality finished issues. After some nine months, this is still ongoing. My daughters and other residents have continued to have punctures caused by nails and screws. Persimmon has denied that the nails and screws belong to them. There is nobody else on site building except persimmon. Do all nails and screws have persimmon punched onto them to identify who the owner is? No. each of my daughters have had punctures and each have had to have new a new tyre on their cars. The reidents are all having the same issue. Nothing but complete ignorance from persimmon and they fail to deal with it. Take advice and do not buy a persimmon home. Some will be delighted with what they have but looking at reviews across the media, the percentage of bad reviews totally suffocate the good reviews. Customer service and warranty sucks with persimmon.. Have communicated with live chat, email and phone. Emails get answered the first time round. Live chat, they just dont read what is in front of them and ignore your request for contact names and numbers. Phone, they just past the message on. and follow up phone call in return. Persimmon Homes has not yet responded. Leah Connor: 1/5 Stars 22/02/2018 Still waiting for our keys We brought the plot in Home Farm in May 2017, sold our current home in June 2017.... we were told the house would be ready by December as it’s a new build.. it’s now March 2018 and we are no closer to getting in, we have been advised it’s now end of May as an estimate.. unbelievable!!!
