Billy Britt: 1/5 Stars 15/11/2019 Lying about delete my account For the past week I have rung rated people every single day as my account was ment to be deleted every time they say they have done it and even send a confirmation email but they never delete they just ad some more credits to your account hoping you will stay I cannot do the work I have a disabled baby at home and can’t afford it but they will just keep palming me of Rated People has not yet responded. Stephan James: 1/5 Stars 13/04/2019 The company Rated People cannot be trusted - I believe that they put Bogus Clients on their system On a number of occasions I have bought a lead from rated. This lead supplies me with contact numbers, email addresses and the full post code. I've had about 6 occasions where how ever I've tried to contact the home owner I have never had a response to voicemails left, Texts sent, emails sent via the rated site or emails sent from my email address. when all that has failed I have used the procedure that rated people provide and all I get in response is "YOU CANNOT BE REFUNDED THIS TIME". If you try to contact rated to ask to ask why, all you get is a stock reply and they refuse to answer any questions after that by not responding. Silviya Pancheva: 1/5 Stars 27/06/2019 Extremely poor service We are a small painting and decorating company. We have decided to try Rated People during the winter as it is quiet and were hoping to find more work through them. Unfortunately, Rated People have been robing us big time and so far they did not offer anyting but lies. They offer you 14 days test period which is not enough time for you to figure out how bad their service is. We opted for two leads per month and for the 16 leads we have been sent so far only one customer responded. All the others were dead leads as the supposed client would not answer their phone and would not reply to our numerous emails. No responce at all. If you complain to Rated People, they will not allow your money back for any of these leads because Rated People have a limit on the amount of leads you can return which is 10% even though 99% of their leads in my oppinion are fake. If you want to file official complaint, they would not have it and send you to debt collectors straight away. You are not allowed to cancel your membership if you are not happy with their service and they will not try to resolve the issue whatsoever. Their version of resolving the issue was "keep paying your monthly fees or we will send you to court". Please do not waste your time and money. If you do not belive me, research the company online and you will find hundreds of complaints and bad reviews. Stay away! Do not use! Rated People has not yet responded. Kevin Ball: 1/5 Stars 01/07/2019 Rated people is a scam!!!! I bought a lot of jobs through rated people and I've had a lot of trouble with customers who don't reply to phone calls/messages/emails or the chat on the website. I've put in for my money back and rated people don't want to give you it back because it goes by 20% of you have spent in the last 3 months. Its a joke because people are trying to make a business and it's not our fault that the customers don't want to pick up the phone to communicate or even give you a chance to do a quote but rated people think it's ok to keep our money and a jobs are like £60 and we are never getting a fair shot at the jobs. They don't give the money back to your card it goes back onto red people account so they don't lose out anyway it's a big scam for them to make money and the us trade people to be out of pocket its a joke!!!!!!!!!!!! A other thing what happened to me they took money out of my account what I added up to over £400 for one job without my permission. So when I got my bank statement through I see what they have done rang them up and everyone was coming up some rubbish excuses and it took me over 3 weeks to get my money back it's a joke!!!!!!!! Hayley Gray: 1/5 Stars 29/08/2019 Job lead prices I have come to realise that people who advertise jobs on rated people are not fully aware to what cost it is for trades people to buy their leads. As well as the no refund if the customer who you have bought the lead from does not reply. Some leads cost £40 which is the majority of the cost of the membership to which if you can’t contact anyone or even give a quote you have lost. It’s unfair that you can’t claim back the cost of the lead if no contact has been made. They are making it cost so much money to buy a lead which then people can’t afford to buy another lead. If the tradespeople who are on rated people were earning lots of money then they wouldn’t need rated people therefore they should think about their costs and refund policies Rated People has not yet responded.
