Barry Lee: 1/5 Stars 17/04/2019 Very poor customer service I booked a transporter to deliver car, company doing job was brilliant. Issue was on shiply i stated job as £325, as far as i was aware job accepted, little did i know shiply error changed quote that transport company recieved to £650. They have admitted liabilty but wont reply to emails or calls. They offered £84 goodwill but wont follow this up. I have paid £584 in total and i am out of pocket and find staff very rude. This was theyre system error and have all the transport company messages and my own as also have email saying they have made an error but very unwilling to discuss or help. I find this unacceptable but after reading reviews of customer service not surprised, even a review on trust pilot seemed a cover backside exercise and very inaccurate. Please help Shiply has not yet responded. Craig Stevens 21/04/2021 Shipley is absolutely the biggest load of shit I’ve ever heard I’ve never had anything decent delivered the feedback is awful I’ve won so many auctions on eBay went to go through Shipley and get no response from they can’t be asked to lift the Isle of Wight have suit the worst thing I’ve ever heard of I’ve lost thousands of pounds through them because they can’t be asked to contact me Zayne Sharif: 1/5 Stars 12/03/2019 Thugs and jokes recovering cars Firstly the chap quoted 250 pounds on shiply then comes to my doorstep were my elderly mom and dad were and claims shiplys fees are different to his and that i have to pay him 250 although ive paid 50pounds to shiply. After complaining with shiply i got told that they do not get involved withthese issues and i would have to resolve the matter directly with the recovery guys. When i tried to explain to the recovery chap "RE60VERY" the guy was swearing at me on the phone calling me all the names under the sun. Absolutly pathetic cowboy service Shiply has not yet responded. Henry Stevenson: 1/5 Stars 20/09/2018 Shiply - they just walk away if there is a problem The test of any organisation is what they do when things go wrong. I used Shiply to find a transport company to transport an antique table which had cost me £89. The freight company had quoted £73 to transport it. The table was damaged in transit - a repair would cost £120 The transport company quoted 'Terms and Conditions' and offered £89 (the cost of the table) 'take it or leave it' and no refund of the freight cost. The damaged table is unusable - so I have been left £73 out of pocket. The big disappointment for me is that Shiply have simply walked away - telling me that it's between me and the transport company. Clearly they do not have a service level agreement between them and their transport companies to ensure an acceptable level of customer service. Shiply tell me that I must make a judgement based on the feedback score of the transport company involved (their clever algorithms calculate this) - in the case of this transport company 94.1%. But what does this feedback score of 94.1% ACTUALLY mean ? Does it mean that this is a great transport company company with a vast majority of satisfied customers - or does it mean that just 94.1% of the shipments get through unbroken so only 5.9% of customers go on discover that the insurance cover offered is inadequate? Shiply - it is time for you to review your lists of 'approved' transport companies and implement a service level agreement that leaves your clients confident that they are protected if they choose a Shiply approved transport company Shiply has not yet responded. Beatriz Navales: 1/5 Stars 18/06/2018 Abbusive fees I am organizing a moving with one of the shiply companies, and the deposit I paid to shiply was £1000 . I always thought this was the deposit, from which part of it would be a fee for shiply.My surprise came when the moving company asked for an extra 30% deposit before the moving date , as the £1000 was totally the shiply fee. I find this fee abusive for just being a mere intermediary. I could have save at least £800 looking in another website !!! Shiply has not yet responded. David Rochester: 1/5 Stars 28/01/2015 Get quotes from Shiply, pay in full & then they don't deliver. No customer support, zero help.. I bought a pair of chairs late November 2014. I got quotes via Shiply. I paid the courier in full (you have to..!). That's it; no chairs delivered, no proactive communication from the courier & Shiply respond with "unable to get involved". I wrote 2 emails to Shiply & they responded with the same email twice. It's staggering there is no vetting done by this company & no responsibility taken. I Googled Shiply & discovered there are a lot of unhappy customers that have been conned by this sharp trading. Shiply has not yet responded.
