Gilly Lelliott: 1/5 Stars 05/12/2018 Poor quality sofa and lied to I purchased the Linara 4 seater sofa from Sofology and after 3 months of light use we had to complain as the seats had sunk and the sofa looked terrible. When I contacted Sofology I was told not to worry at all as this is normal, and that as it’s leather the material stretches so just tuck it in down the back of the sofa! I wrote back immediately and said that this is an unacceptable response and I shouldn’t have to pay that amount of money to tuck my sofa in at night. They wrote back and said a technician can attend to see if there is anything wrong with the sofa. The technician walked in and immediately said I take it you have an issue with the seats as they look awful. Sofology contacted me after this visit and said that they will be replacing the filling of the seats and the leather covering as they have had an issue with all the Linara sofas provided by their supplier and will be doing this under warranty and that their other customers have been happy with this change over the past few months. I then asked Sofology why they lied to me and tried to get me to go away when they knew there was a product issue with this sofa. I have written to Sofology 4 times now and they are not responding. Funny how once they’ve been found out, they go silent! Why was there not a product recall? Why did they tell me the issue was normal and not to worry? My trust has completely gone with this company and I’d warn others to think twice about using them. £1,700 for a saggy sofa! Not acceptable! Sofology has not yet responded. Simon Betts: 1/5 Stars 20/12/2018 Unacceptable Lovely sofa just a shame ours had marked cushions, damaged feet to footstool, loose threads to the front of cushions and to top it all off main support frame to the back snapped in two after only 18days ! Lk Carty: 1/5 Stars 20/11/2018 Awful!!! After buying a sofa from sofology we took out the cleaning care package and were told if we needed it cleaning Someone would be out every single day if needed! When we did try to get someone to come and clean it we had to send various emails to which they didn't get back to you until 3-5 days later then they wanted to know all about the stains and photographs. Every time we replied we had to wait a further 3-5 days. After completing a very low score survey they asked if I wished to take the matter further of which I did and again had to wait another 3-5days. Then I got sent a small bottle of cleaning product and a sponge telling me this will clean it. I explained that I have a seriously ill child who become incontinent and my whole sofa needs cleaning. In total this has taken over 3 months and I still have no one to clean it. Also one of the arms on the chair needs repairing and again after various emails we have heard nothing! Absolutely awful company and will not be using again. Sofology has not yet responded. Woody Hartmann: 1/5 Stars 03/12/2018 Disgusting service the sofa we ordered would have looked fantastic in our house had they have delivered it but like so many times before they didn't nor could thy tell us when it was getting delivered so we canceled and now they wont give us back our deposit, law suit inbound, please do yourself a massive favor and go elsewhere, even if you do get lucky enough to receive a sofa it is unlikely to be what you was expecting, we dodged a bullet do your self a favor and shop elsewhere you have been warned. Stephanie Brodin: 1/5 Stars 22/02/2019 Avoid this company Avoid this company there after sales service is disgraceful once they have your money they are not interested. Bought the chiltern range 4 seater sofa chair and footstool arrived with underside of sofa torn this was rectified by repair quickly then seat pad on chair developed a large dent in centre after 8 weeks numerous emails and calls seat pad foam replaced.. on same day exactly same happened to replacement only worse (sofa cushions no problem with)they said was a dressing issue and I was to aerate cushion overnight also give it a good whack also instructions on the union jack method (unzip cushion and make union jack shape inside!) While I appreciate flipping cushion regularly the above was to be done several times day and they thought this was acceptable!! Eventually after several complaints they sent out a apparent independent upholster from homeserve he stated that it wasn't a manufacturing fault more of a design issue as the foam pad is not really suitable for the depth of the chair and it would be rectified by a medium strength foam cushion .Sofology have now told me that as not manufacturing fault and they only use the one type of foam interior there is nothing they are prepared to do so if you want a decent interior to your furniture AVOID THIS COMPANY go elsewhere absolutely disgraceful customer service from a shoddy company Sofology has not yet responded.
