Imtiyaz Sameera: 1/5 Stars 01/03/2019 Disgusting Customer Service Had the most disgusting service from East Ham Branch. 4 separate visits and no explanation provided about the lens thickness. On calling the woman sales assistant wouldn't let me speak about my frustration and then cut me off. i rang back and she cut me off. AGAIN. It's not even about the lack of the vital information that they failed to mention. I'm more annoyed about the appalling customer service I received. Other big brands would not never treat customers in this manner at all. Specsavers has not yet responded. Dennis Whiting: 1/5 Stars 03/10/2016 Unable to give a service on calling to collect my spectacles they had fitted a straight line instead of the mushroom as requested on the bifocals. I was told this is not possible when re-active light had been fitted that is why they had fitted the straight bi focals. Knowing this, why wasnt I informed at the time of ordering?. I waited a further ten days, when I called to collect I was told that the lab had cracked the lense and that I would have to wait again. Why did they not phone to tell me? Save a wasted journey. Ana Andriescu: 1/5 Stars 06/10/2016 Really bad chice to use Specsavers Thru work they give us a voucher that we can use with Specsavers. I booked an appointment on the 3rd of September in Romsey. On top of the voucher that I had they charged me £70, I asked why and the lady has very vague about it. Even now I don't know why I paid it when in the voucher that I had, everything was included and I didn't ask for any extras. They said they will give me a call when my lenses will arrive(only lenses because I had my personal frames) after one week no call what so ever. I called them and ask if my lenses arrived and they said they received it couple days ago, but nobody bothered to call me. Anyway I asked them when should I go to fit the lenses to my frames and they said I just drop my frames and should go back in one week time to collect the glasses. They didn't told me that they have no lab in there otherwise I would've gone to a bigger store as I don't have a spare one and I need my glasses for work. They send them in Southampton in the end and I said I will go there with my frames to fit them because it will take only couple hours. Went yesterday and pick it up and they got my prescription wrong I can barely see with the left eye because of the lens. I called them back and asked for my old lenses and they said they throw them away. it took one month to finally have my glasses and in the end were wrong. I can't even be bother to go back to changed them. I booked already an appointment with a different opticians. I will definitely not use Specsavers again and I will let my friends and family know not to use it. Specsavers has not yet responded. Marianna Hatwell: 1/5 Stars 08/02/2018 Appalling service Eye test at home for 96 year old mother-in-law on 17th January, and was told her glasses would be ready maximum 3 weeks. Every time I called the number supplied by the company to check progress, it went to answerphone. Finally got a call on 5th Feb, telling me the specs were ready but would be delivered 'sometime next week', but couldn't say when! It's now Thursday 8th, and still have not received confirmation of delivery/fitting date. I am appalled at the service, and lack of communication, and would never use this service again, and would certainly warn anybody off using it also. Specsavers has not yet responded. Ravin Govinden: 1/5 Stars 13/03/2018 Specsavers the worst Specsavers is by far the worst eye company I've ever dealt with in my life. I would go as far as saying I would make it my entire life's mission to give bad reviews on any online portal or social media channel to prevent others shopping with this retailer. It sounds dramatic but my experiences are painful. My wife went into the Hayes town branch to replace her lens prescription at Specsavers request. They continued to bill her even when they weren't sending her lenses. She arrived for her appointment 15 mins early and all the optometrists went on lunch together. She booked 2 weeks in advance. A flurry of lies ensued. Despite emails to managing director phone calls to their customer services and chats via their online portal they have never tried to contact her. Specsavers is fundamentally a retailer has no interest in customers or eye health. It's all about money in the till don't believe their mission statement go to any other optician they will care about you and give you great customer service. Specsavers has not yet responded. Luke Twaddle 11/04/2021 Hi my name is Luke Twaddle I am very unhappy with my service with specsavers canlands store in Mackay Queensland Australia 4740 I had purchased a $300 set of glasses i had them for a month and don't use much i use my sunny prescription ones most of the time I had grabbed them off the bench they dropped on the floor and the fram broken I had taken them back to the store there is a 3 month no fuss guarantee on the site and you would not expect a $300 set of glasses to do this as they claim to have the highest quality They told me there is no warranty and it is okay that they had broken it must of been the angel they had feel and it wouldn't even matter if it happened the next day of purchase the outcome would be the same they said I had to pay $190 for new frams I walked out and was furious and tried to look up the franchise to complain I walked back in and asked who I would call for the complaint they gave me a demo set of frames and said they are putting a note on my file I don't think I should have a note on my file for this they are obviously cheep plastic or something has happened while making these frames to make them so week CLICK HERE: Compare the cheapest insurance quotes | Save money on your insurance bills |
