Ricky Smith: 1/5 Stars 11/02/2020 Wallpaper Please stay away from this place wallpaper. I'm down £54 and there is nothing they can do apparently. Disgusting as they are selling faulty products. It cost me a job losing out on £250 labour yet no compensation is given. I have a family to provide for . Sc um bags they really are . I'm looking on taken legal action. What horrible is I know I'm not the only one !!!!! The Range has not yet responded. Vernon Khanna: 1/5 Stars 19/02/2017 The Range (Watford) parking Ticket in the Their Car Park whilst I was shopping and went over 2hrs Having visited The Range store in watford , my first visit to the store which is quite large. I went over the allotted 2hrs allowed in the car park. (managed by Parking Eye). Few days later I received a £100 ticket. I phone The Range customer services I was told in no uncertain tone the car park was nothing to do with them and they could not help . when I wrote a email to customer services pretty much the same. I explained that I was in their car park for one reason only to shop at their store. The Range did not want to know. told me to deal with Parking Eye . This company Parking eye is a money making machine from unsuspecting customers. My complaint is that whilst there is no system in place to protect customers who are genuinely shopping in their store. As a customer its unfair they leave you in the hands of one of these companies bought in to run the car parks to make a profit. These companies like Parking Eye are worst than the council parking departments. I have spent hours dealing with this £100 ticket to know avail. I wish I had never gone to the The Range Store. Debbie King: 1/5 Stars 16/08/2019 Complaint I purchased a glass garden table and chairs that had been on display so not in the correct packaging when delivered 2 months later the table shattered The Range has refused to accept there was a fault in the table because my parasol was not in a base but knocked into the ground. This was only the second time I had used the parasol and it was not windy. They say the instructions say you need to use a base I didn’t have instructions it wasn’t windy it was 2 months old. Absolute rubbish customer service!!! The Range has not yet responded. Tamara Randall: 1/5 Stars 13/08/2019 Appalling service Dear Sir or Madam My Husband and I have felt that we needed to express our recent experience at the Range Sutton in Ashfield Store on Friday 9th August at approx. 4 :30 pm. I had the week before purchased a bathroom cabinet from the said store, and on opening the packaging at home noticed that there was a smashed mirror. I took the cabinet back to the store on the 9th August with my Husband and explained our situation, where the assistant at the desk, said "go and fetch another one". I went to the isle trying to locate another/same cabinet to exchange, the cabinet I required was not available, so I picked another cabinet up that had a price tag on the shelf which was the same price as my original one, so decided on that one, I took this back to the assistant at the cash desk, and waited, she scanned the box and said that will be £10.00 to pay, I explained that it was the same price, as the smashed one, she said "well its come up at £10'00 dearer, by this time I had been waiting quite along time, she said I will get someone to check, I said No I will check as I could have made the mistake, I went to the Isle and fetched the price tag that was on the shelf, and did notice that there were items in the wrong place and wrong price tags in the wrong place, but the price tag under the cabinet that I had picked was correct, so took it back to the assistant, who on seeing the price and said "oh yes it is not £10 pounds dearer" and asked for the supervisor to come . This is where I am astounded to be treated with such disrespect from a staff member at this store, his attitude was astoundingly rude and disrespectful, after the assistant had explained what had gone wrong, JOSH Supervisor stated that as the price had come up on the till as £10 pounds dearer, that is what it would have to be sold at, I explained about the price tag etc., he then stated "well it is human error" I said that it was not human error, and that it was his responsibility to ensure that the goods were priced correctly and items should be in the correct place under the correct pricing, there was no apology, no "oh I am sorry for the inconvenience at you having to bring items back to the store that were damaged, I was informed that the best they could do is give me 10% off, which |I felt was not good enough, His whole attitude left both my Husband and I, feeling we had been let down. Surely as a huge store like The Range can ensure correct pricings, and ensure that customer service is a little more sensitive, I feel our experience at the store was terrible and was handled appallingly. Norma Albinson: 1/5 Stars 02/08/2019 ( Lack of) customer services Went on line to purchase a side board but then changed my mind. Could not do this on line but directed from the on line to the customer services phone line, Getting through is a joke lots of privacy policy stuff but even before you start you get automated 'we are very busy' then a repetitive ad of how " good" they are, eventually spoke with someone early yesterday and was promised it would be dealt with, but item had been dispatched. I did manage to get hold of delivery firm and managed to cancel with them No ffed back from the Range and looking on here and Trust pilot nobody has had a responce from head office. Do they not care?
