Mo Lunat: 1/5 Stars 14/02/2020 Worse Tour operator Hi Tui booking ref: 11772522 We were denied check as we were 5 minutes late this morning and have now been told we will lose 100% of our package holiday. This is absurd we were late by 5 minutes only, plenty time to clear customs and board, 5 minutes late and this is how we have been treated, told deal with it with your insurance company Tui has not yet responded. Anton Miller: 1/5 Stars 09/02/2018 Warning: Do not use Tui travel money card After speaking to our Tui shop staff in Wickford Essex I was convinced a prepaid travel card for our holiday in Thailand and Cambodia was the best choice and i could put Thai Baht and US dollars on the multi currency card. I was assured by the TUI shop staff that there would and could be no possible problems using the ATM's My first withdrawal of Thai Baht from an ATM proved to be a complete nightmare after the cash machine converted Euro! to English pounds then to Thai Baht! which cost me £38.00 to make my first withdrawal of cash. This was the same when I tried withdrawing Dollars in Cambodia. I emailed Tui customer services time after time, daily explaining that my Holiday was fast becoming a disaster as i couldn't afford and had not budgeted for this and after each email that I sent had an acknowledgement reply saying that "We have received your email and will get back to you shortly regarding this matter" I lost count of the amount of emails i sent and received from Tui. They never did get back to me and I have found Tui shop staff and Tui customer services to be the lowest form of intelligence and consideration that I have ever received. When i was first given the 2 multi currency cards in the Wickford shop i later received a call to say they had made a mistake (basically neither of the cards had the £3000 balance that the shop had put on them) and they would have to re issue another 2 cards for me to use but i wouldn't be able to use the app on my phone to see the use of the card and balance as it would only register the first cards issued. Then when i questioned the new cards only showed a balance of £2800 they said that was the buy back value but after the holiday my balance showed over £400 but i only got £371 back so i lost money in every direction possible and found the whole of the Tui outfit absolutely useless and not fit for purpose. Lindsay Best: 1/5 Stars 09/02/2016 Thomson not issuing refund of deposit Booked a holiday to Cape Verde for June 2016 and after finding out I was pregnant and the Zika virus I wanted to cancel the holiday. I have paid a low deposit of £150, but the second deposit of £250 is due 24th Feb. I have emailed them and asked if they can waiver the outstanding £250 deposit and I will accept loosing the £150 but they are saying no and I will still need to pay the outstanding £250 before I can even cancel the holiday. Tui has not yet responded. Mark Gill: 1/5 Stars 18/05/2019 Customer service very bad service went to new york for my wifes 40th and when we landed there were no transfer for us and the same on the way back complained to tui and they treated us like we were lying about the company not picking us up after 6 weeks all they have dune is given us a refund for the taxi they wornt bovered that we was stranded for 3 hours and the fact that we lost time from ower holiday tui you need to sort out your customer service and the way you treat your customers i have been booking holiday with thomsons/tui for many years but no more. Graham Dawson: 1/5 Stars 21/06/2019 TUI just don’t care about customers - not if they complain My family and I returned 2 weeks ago having spent a wonderful week in Rhodes. This was very much in spite of TUI and their Atlantic Imperial ‘Sensimar’ Hotel. Complaints had to be made about the return flight time being changed to the middle of the night, consigning us to appalling treatment (both ways) in Rhodes airport, a cockroach in the main atrium of the hotel, lipstick on a glass in the hotel restaurant, a plug socket hanging out of the wall on the corridor outside our room and a hotel staff member barging into our room while we were there (one in the shower...). Most shocking of all is that TUI have neither acknowledged, nor responded to any of the complaints made…. Draw your own conclusions… Tui has not yet responded.
