Svethlana Gallage: 1/5 Stars 27/07/2018 Mold in rice When I opened my rice that said best before 050619 which is a year from now, there was a heap of mold that coated the rice!!! It is absolutely disgusting and has put me off eating anything from Uncle Ben’s again. I am horrified to think my little brother would have just taken a pack, microwaves it and eaten it! I’m lucky unlike any other day, I checked. Uncle Ben’s has not yet responded. Courtney Boutilier: 2/5 Stars 20/01/2020 Mold in 2 minute rice package I opened up a package of Jasmine rice, the one you cooked for 2 minutes in the microwave. Expiry date 1/20. As soon as I ripped open the seal, the smell hit me and I looked in the package it was all black, top to bottom. I don't know why this would be as I've had it before and this did not happen. This was absolutely sickening. It's sickening to know that I can't even imagine opening another package that I own. This means $20 is going down the drain. Uncle Ben’s has not yet responded. Steven Carr: 1/5 Stars 19/03/2019 Mouldy Microwave Rice This is the second time that I have had mouldy rice from uncle bens, this is absolutely disgusting and once I checked the date was 13th January 2020 so it’s well within date. To find that other people are finding this same issue is appalling. Uncle Ben’s has not yet responded. Ranj Patel: 1/5 Stars 14/05/2018 Mouldy distasteful rice Purchased uncles bens original rice, when emptying the rice part of it was black, it was not the same as advertised on the packet or as I have had previously. On tasting it it an usual distasteful flavour. I have purchased many packets but was disappointed on this occasion. I am happy to send the packet as it states it is in date.
