Kerry Gray: 1/5 Stars 19/02/2018 Warm home discount I applied for the warm home discount back in august/september 2017,as my claim came back unmatched,i was asked to send further proof of my benefit entitlement.I sent the proof by email and by post and was told by an advisor that they had been received and nothing further was needed.Having heard nothing by way of response over the next few months,i contacted utilita again only to be told my claim was still pending and they weren't sure why.More weeks passed and I'd still heard nothing neither by letter or email.I called again only to be told I needed to send more evidence of my higher rate benefit claim,i was never once contacted by utilita to say yet more proof was needed,and would never had known if I hadn't called them.This evidence was sent to them once again by email and I was told they had received it.Once again I didn't hear anything by way of response.After calling them again about this,i was told I had been unsuccessful.I have waited almost 6 months to be told this and I'm very dissapointed by the fact I had to contact utilita to find out what was going on as they never once sent an email or letter.I also sent an email of complaint and was told to wait 5 days for a response that never came.I am very angry that no effort was made by utilita to contact me regarding this,i am now looking to switch supplier. Utilita has not yet responded. Kaci C: 1/5 Stars 27/08/2019 Constant phoncalls They've been calling me since Feb. No matter how many times I tell them I'm not interested. Just not listening to me and not taking no for an answer. I most definitely wouldn't sign up with these. Utilita has not yet responded. Sarah Gunn: 1/5 Stars 02/10/2019 Its unfair that the winter fuel discount is ridiculous unfair why customers are left unable to aply Unable to aply when other energy companys make it easiesr and reward customers for there custom. When fir example utilita doesnt ofer anything to keep customers happy its even £15 to pay emergancy credit back. When that ia double the amount usualy oferd making it more dificult. Joanne Elliott: 1/5 Stars 05/07/2019 Take your eyeballs out Living in a two up and two down mid terrace house. We are out from 8am until 8pm Monday to Friday. They charged us £187 per month for gas and electric via direct debit. Stayed with them 12 month and got a quote on a comparison site for over £100 cheaper a month! When trying to cancel or switch they don’t allow the new company to do this switch so you have to call. Called on several occasions and waited over an hour for someone to pick up! With new provider now and they are still taking the direct debit out of our bank account absolute cowboys . We have now had to cancel the direct debit at the bank.
