Sarah Julie: 2/5 Stars 24/08/2019 Up up and away At first,our gas and electricity was cheap. But all of a sudden,our Bill's have almost tripled! Gas went from about £24 a month to £69 a month! Theres so much fine print...the cash back cards etc Not worth it. Utility Warehouse has not yet responded. Rob Brooks: 1/5 Stars 26/10/2019 Please Avoid them! Just do a quick comparison quote to actually save money anywhere else. Absolutely terrible. We took out the combined pack of gas, electric, mobile and internet for the best savings. We've been with UW for 2 months now. Broadband is still not set up but we're still paying for it. As well as paying for our Virgin home and broadband so that we still have some form of internet connection at home. On top of this UW swapped our home telephone line over without warning us so our bundle pack with Virgin was removed raising the cost of the Virgin connection up to £75 so now we're paying £30 for UW broadband which we don't even get and £75 with Virgin. Not really saved any money so far, tried cancelling today and we were told we'd have to cover £100 of fees to cancel the policy. Pretty unfair as we didn't have the services to test in the short 14 day cancellation period. And now we can see how terrible it is we're stuck. I'll be raising this to the relevant financial services and strongly recommend anyone else avoid. Utility Warehouse has not yet responded. Lynn Gorman: 1/5 Stars 27/02/2018 The sales ethics are disgusting 2 men came to my 73yr old, widowed aunt’s house and somehow ‘persuaded’ her to sign over all her utilities, mobile, etc. All she can recollect from this is that they were promising her free lightbulbs.We discovered that she was in a contract that made her pay over the odds for her fuel, pay for a mobile service she will never need or use or even couldn’t use as she never received a SIM card, a cashback card that again she didn’t receive and would never use plus lightbulbs that she wouldn’t want. All sign-up/switch over communications were through email which she doesn’t know how to access so hadn’t realised what was going on. I am beyond furious that this is the way they get customers and we have done everything we can to get her out of it. I would not touch them with a barge pole if this is how they conduct themselves and I hope those salesmen feel happy with themselves for gaining another sales target whilst my aunt is really upset about how she has been manipulated. There should be a law to say if there is someone elderly & alone in a house, there should be another person they know & trust with them during a sales talk so they can be sure to make an informed decision not be taken advantage of. Senol: 1/5 Stars 26/07/2016 high non eu data roaming i used my mobile in my holiday just one day and it has been used 7mb mobile data and its been charged my mobile £120 for 7mb in one day. when i recieved a text from company that, it was saying you used over £25 data usaged and than i stoped to use my data anymore. when i back fom holiday and shocked about my mobile bill about £120 extra data charged. i have contated the company they said the price £18 per mb for non eu country . i have checked all other mobile company data prices for non eu and none of them that higher almost 3 times more the utility ware house prices. Im goint to take in court about high data charges to me. also planing leave all my enery service that company too asap. Best regards Utility Warehouse has not yet responded.
