William Devereux: 1/5 Stars 01/11/2019 Scam £100 charge Boiler broke a year after getting it installed. Vaillant come round and say a valve needs adjusting, fix it then leave. A week later I get slammed with a £100 non boiler fault charge with absolutely no warning from the engineer. Disgraceful service! I had to take a day off to get it looked at because there service hours are so limited too!! Vaillant has not yet responded. Mark Evans: 1/5 Stars 13/11/2018 Customer services Had a Vaillant eco 832 installed at the end of June 2018 which was working fine, very quiet but a little clunky when the heating timer cut in or out. Now come today early November I arrive home at 07:30 to a message from my partner saying there is no hot water or heating. Right ring the installer, he was great attempted to talk me through a few thing but they did not work. Next time to call the Vaillant breakdown team (Possibly person) Not available in my area for 2 days. Hmmmm. Not happy now. Ok book that because my insurance for boiler breakdown will not come out as it is under the warranty. Ash for a manager to call me back. Just under 7 hours later I get a manager ... corporate talk about he has already advised that 2 days is the earliest to get an engineer. Ok 4 month old boiler that I was informed I could get repaired myself but the company will not pay for it so I have to wait 2 days. I had a 25 year old Worcester Bosch prior to going green .. no issue what so ever with it or the company. All I wanted was an engineer to come and fix it the same day and give me some hot water and heating but no that is in the too difficult box for Vaillant Vaillant has not yet responded. Sylvia Dorgan: 1/5 Stars 01/06/2018 Vaillant customer service,extended warrant issue 30 May 2018, my Husband made a call to Vaillant Customer services,for advice,and help on our Vaillant Boiler.It had sprung a leak,underneath,and needed some attention.We have an extended 5 year warranty,the boiler is nearly two years old,and the warranty runs out 2021.The conversation went like this, My Husband asked because the the leak is from the filling tube contacts,externally from the boiler will it still be covered on the warranty? The customer service chap,confirmed that it would still be covered by the Vaillant extended warranty,anyway. But they would still need my Husband's card details as security for the call out.My Husband then gave his card details over the phone.We were told to wait for tomorrow and at 8.30am for time slot.When the Engineer came that morning of 31 May,the engineer looked at the boiler and said straight away,'it's not the boilers fault,we would not get the leak fixed,and it's £90 call out now! I did say that we asked before hand if it was a warranty fault and was assured that it was.Or else why would we call out anyone to pay £90! He told me to take it up with the Vaillant customer service people. We did and were met with no interest at all,they said they would listen to the recorded message,to confirm what was said,and get back to us,but they haven't and they will not,because they should have rang up yesterday at the latest So that's my situation,£90 less in our pocket,which also left us having to employ another Engineer at our cost,quite a dear experience,not a good situation,i wish I had never ever been talked into taking out their extended warranty. Vaillant has spot yet responded. Margaret Archer: 1/5 Stars 19/03/2018 Disgraceful customer service Still without heating and hot water after three days! Virtually Impossible to get the phone answered by Vaillant customer care staff, frankly the service is not fit for purpose! When are Vaillant going to get someone out to fix my boiler? Monika Nawrot: 1/5 Stars 26/01/2017 Never Ever use Vaillant!!!!! Had issues with my bioler in August 2016, called Vailland hoping that they will provide best possible service of a boiler type they manufacture. The guy on the phone recommended a cover plan, which I took for 6 months. Visit was done although by a very grupmy technician who couldn't be bothered to explain what happened and what was repaired / replaced. Few days ago I called again to book a visit under my plan as boiler stopped firying. They refused to send a technician due to a lack of a fixed ladder to my loft, which was not a problem when I was setting up a contract, but became a problem now, when the contract is about to expire. There is a safe and stable ladder they can use (and have used first time round) but are now sayiin I need a fixed ladder! On the top of that, when I eventaully demanded for someone to be send over as I need by boiler fixind under the terms of contract, the guy didn't show up! I called Vaillant and they said that a techncian called off sick. They had no cover, they couldn'd offer any alternative solution other than me contacting local external engineer, paying myslef for repair and then asking Vaillant to reimburse me! What's the point of having a contract for monthly payments and peace of mind if they basically tell you 'pay it yourself and we will reimburse you". Pointless! Vaillant has not yet responded.
