James Hughes: 1/5 Stars 09/02/2018 Utterly awful! Fraudsters! Utterly awful. Are absolute fraudsters. I ordered a shower enclosure but had to be returned due to being the wrong way round. So I ordered another one in the mean time and had to pay extra for this. The new one came all okay. The one I sent back was delivered back to Victorian Plumbing all fine but they would not issue me a refund as the back had a tear in it. The actual item was all fine and resellable but they said they could not refund me as the box was slightly ripped, despite them informing me on the phone before I returned it to them that it did not even need to be in the box and just to wrap it in plastic. Absolute disgrace of a company. DO NOT USE!!!!!!!!!!! Victorian Plumbing has not yet responded. Mike Ball: 1/5 Stars 06/12/2017 Absolutely shambolic, failed at every turn to resolve the order Absolutely shambolic, at every turn they failed to resolve their error. Ordered porcelain 300mm x 300mm tiles for the hallway at the beginning of September they sent 333mm x 333mm ceramic tiles, this was clearly labelled on the boxes they sent, I sent them the pictures to prove it. They then sent EXACTLY the same wrong tiles back to me again, and then, incredibly, they did it AGAIN ... exactly the same WRONG tiles, not once, not twice, but THREE times. It is now the beginning of December, 3 months later and our hallway has not been tiled, I've had to take time out from work to receive their 2 x subsequent wrong orders and to send the original wrong order back, we've had to put off our tiler so he's lost work too, not to mention the numerous emails I've had to send to them as well as phone calls. And to cap it all on the 9th November they emailed me to say they've discovered what the error was (wrong tiles stacked where the tiles I'd ordered should have been) and that they could now send me the all correct tiles after Nov 24th, I emailed them back to say that was acceptable ... NOTHING HAPPENED ... I've had to call them today to demand my money back (which they've had for more than 3 months now) and demand some compensation for all the time I have lost. They refused any compensation, offered me a hollow apology and said they will refund my money. No doubt they will make a hash of that too. Victorian Plumbing has not yet responded. Lynda Roberts: 1/5 Stars 30/01/2017 Poor service Having spent a lot of money with Victorian Plumbing I would have expected a better service. Firstly the delivery was literally thrown on the front drive on a pallet in the pitch black dark although I had informed them I needed delivery in daylight as it was a building site with very little light. The driver drove off before we could check the correct items had been delivered. 2 items were incorrect and had to be collected and redelivered. On opening the other items 2 of them were badly damaged, unfortunately due to the situation we were unable to keep to the 48 hour deadline to inspect the items. They were completely unhelpful and refused to exchange the items. We had to reorder the damaged items and they insisted we had to pay for a full pallet deliver an extra £34.99 despite the items being light and small. There was no-one senior to speak to and they didn't seem to care at all about helping us out. We would have been putting a lot of business their way but instead we will now only go to Victoria Plumb who are by far the better company with a excellent customer service and fair returns policy. Victorian Plumbing has not yet responded. John Davison: 1/5 Stars 01/11/2016 Wrong items - twice! After ordering 5 antique brass radiator valves and 1 chrome valve from Victorian Plumbing, I heard nothing for over a week. Only when I called them did they say that the chrome was out of stock and would not be in for 3 weeks. It was showing as in stock when I placed my order. My plumber was due to start 5 days later so I asked them to cancel the chrome valve and just ship the brass which were in stock. 3 days later the valves arrive - the delivery note said 5 brass as expected, however the boxes were 5 chrome. When I called and spoke to Abbie she said it 'wasn't possible as they don't have them in stock'. She basically accused me of lying. I sent in pictures which confirmed the mistake. She arranged for 5 brass ones to be sent out ASAP and the chrome ones to be collected. Due to the postage cut offs my plumber had to start on the Monday with the understanding the valves would arrive on the Tuesday. The new valves arrived on Tuesday, - and guess what - 5 more chrome. I now have 10! This time I spoke to Ben - I explained that the plumber was charging me a daily rate and that without the valves I was basically paying him for nothing. He said it would be another few days to get me the correct valves - this would have cost me another £300 in plumber costs so I had to let him take on another job. He still billed me £100 for the Tuesday and now I have no heating for my family, it's freezing outside, I'm out of pocket and Victorian Plumbing cannot tell me when the new valves will arrive and have not even offered an explanation or formal apology. I keep getting emails saying my problem has been resolved, - no I don't think so! I've asked 4 times for the complaints procedure or the details of anyone more senior but have been ignored. Picking up the wrong product once is careless - to do it twice is disgusting. The service is rude and appalling. Don't give this company your money - you'll only get anger and ignorance in return. Stephen Manley: 1/5 Stars 04/03/2016 waiting moor then 1 month for a refund I ordered a shower unit which tern up with missing parts after a phone call I was told they will be with me in 3 days after 4 days I phone again only to be told they had no knowledge of my first call I was then told they would be sent first class that same day 3 days later still no parts so I called them to cancel my order and refund my money and now 5 weeks on I still waiting for my refund Victorian Plumbing has not yet responded.
