Babs Macdonald: 5/5 Stars 04/08/2019 Birthday Break at Norton Grange We returned to Norton Grange for the 3rd time and as usual had a great time. The chalet was ideal only drawback was we were unable to get a fan the chalet was really hot. Perhaps air conditioning could be added. The food was superb as always. Our waiter, Gary, was the best we have ever had. He was always aware of our needs and was really helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. The entertainment was its usual high standard, although maybe fabric covered seats would be better as they are in the bar area. The bar area and service was excellent and the late night entertainment finished each day perfectly. Will come back again soon. Barbara Grice: 2/5 Stars 06/09/2019 On 29th August I arranged & paid for a celebration package for a golden wedding anniversary at Thot wedding at Thoresby Hall on 5th September. The intended recipients did not receive anything at all. I am both angry and disappointed that this important occasion passed without the requested recognition. Brian Glass: 1/5 Stars 12/06/2018 Prices on website I have been to Warner hotels numerous times, in fact we have only 3 left to do to complete the set.my concern is the web site. If you visit the web site and look up the costs you will find a discrepancy between what is quoted and final price. Thoresby Hall Hotel for 17 August for 7 days. If you book signature room for the sum of 737.45 for 2, which comes to 1474.90. When you go to the next page at th/e top it is quoted as 2,141.00. then you get a discount of 1,023.10. Which comes to 1,117.90, then they add the cost of meals, it then comes to 1,474.90. which was the original cost of the room. So in fact it seems to me they are conning you to believe you have saved, which in fact you have not. what do you think ? Warner Leisure Hotels has not yet responded. Beryl Geddes: 1/5 Stars 20/05/2018 Food poisoning Booking ref 11209879. We have been concierge customers of Warner for many years. On Monday we arrived at the hotel to usual check in procedure. Dinner table sorted ok. At the time of booking I reserved seats in zone 10 for the evenings entertainment this was not done so we found crowded seats at the back. This however is not my main complaint. Tuesday evening things changed dramatically for the worse. Having eaten to lamb pie starter, mexican main course with ice-cream for sweet. Within an hour I was feeling extremely unwell. My husband who had the same meal as myself except for the sweet was so unwell. My husband was violently sick and also had diarrhea all night while I had diarrhea. We both felt extremely unwell with food poisoning. The next day Wednesday we were asked to stay with our room for 48 hours. Food was brought to us in the evening. However the breakfast we had ordered did not turn up. After several calls to reception we were offered breakfast at 9.40am. We decided to leave and return home. This is now Sunday and I am unable to eat a proper meal and am still feel poorly. A break for which we paid Goomoney £718.00 has made us extremely ill is not something you should be proud of. We know we were not the only ones who were unwell as others became sick. I feel we should be refunded our money for the holiday plus compensation for ongoing illness and costs. Fuel for the journey plus other costs for pets etc. Holiday you will investigate the kitchen practices at Little vote as I wouldn't wsh others to have the same experience that we have suffered. I am sure social media would have a field day with this information. Warner Leisure Hotels has not yet responded. Brian Francis: 1/5 Stars 03/03/2018 Bad weather conditions Ihad booked and paid for a break at bodelwyddan castle.. really looking forward to break.I paid £527.00 which included an up grade.the weather made travel impossible from where I live .The tavel time under normal circumstnces would have been 4.5 hrs. my booking reference number 11326648.I spoke to their customer desk about the problem .who where adamant that we would loose our complete payment.No exception could be made. for the exceptional weather conditions.I have holidayed at warners many times .I am disappointed that they could not make any consessions at all.I even asked if I could re book for a later date.Only to be told this would not be possible.
