Tina Brady: 1/5 Stars 07/12/2018 Rubbish toys for christmas, not wrapped no instructions no box Half of my stuff I ordered the children toys for Christmas are totaly rubbish from China spring loaded basket ball hoop supposed to be £36 wouldn't pay a £1 for it and I've paid £9.99 I'm so upset not in a carry case and half of the stuff has come in a postage bag not boxed no instructions to use its totaly rubbish I never will use wowcher again next year for toys it's discusting you have let clients send items the way they have supposed to be new all total rubbish Wowcher has not yet responded. Susan Evans: 1/5 Stars 06/01/2020 No item, No refund either. Paid for a frother through my PayPal account to wowcher. No item received. After a month Fed up of my sending messages. Wowcher take your money but impossible to get a refund. No reply from them whatsoever. Grab your money. No item, no refund. Terrible! Wowcher has not yet responded. Ewelina Eweina: 1/5 Stars 01/12/2019 They will rip you off! I ordered bed throw, which is rubish, thin, poor quality and completly different from picture. I sent it back, so I paid both for delivery and return label and I am still waiting for my refund. I want to review the product to warn other people, but there is no option to leave review on their website. If you want to loose your money, wowcher is the best choice!!! Wowcher has not yet responded. Elizabeth Payne 08/04/2021 Unsubscribe from wowcher. I am not interested in marketing and promotions Clive Orr: 1/5 Stars 18/02/2019 Forced to buy from them. I had to pay for a "wowcher" for a service before being told the date I needed the service was not available by the agent. I spoke directly to wowcher informing them and was told I was entitled to a refund but it had to be requested online. After intensive searching through their site I could not find how so called them back. I was told it had to be put into a wowcher wallet to cancel that specific wowcher, then they could refund it into my bank account. I went online and did this but when I eventually called back I was then told that anything in the wallet cannot be refunded as MUST be spent on wowchers (even though it is my money). I still have had to pay for the original service I needed and after numerous emails and calls could not get it refunded. They even said they had no record of my phone call. I am now unemployed and really could of used the refund for essentials for my family but have ended up being made to buy household things from them to try to help out with our situation. They had no understanding or empathy. Will never use them again and will relate to as many others as possible. Wowcher has not yet responded. Story by Fred Isaac Nov 9, 2016 How to delete your Wowcher account and stop spam emails After buying a close friend of mine a birthday present from Wowcher, I was bombarded by marketing emails from the deals site. My inbox was under siege from offers on lottery tickets, hair extensions and even Christmas lights. I hit ‘unsubscribe’ on every email but they kept coming (I’ll never scrimp on a friend’s present again). A quick Twitter search shows that I’m not alone in finding Wowcher’s spam hard to stomach: But when I logged into Wowcher, I couldn’t find an option to delete my account. So how do you stop the emails? How to stop Wowcher’s emails and delete your account The best solution seems to be to ring Wowcher on 0203 699 5024. Ignore the requests for an order reference number and demand to speak to an operator. Explain that you have tried to unsubscribe and that you are still receiving emails. Ask them to get the IT department to put a block on daily emails and, if you want them to, delete your account; make sure you get email confirmation that this has been done. Follow this up with a direct Tweet to Wowcher’s twitter handle, asking them to Direct Message you to confirm you have been removed from the system. Hitting the unsubscribe button risks inviting more emails from Wowcher and its affiliates because it flags your email address as ‘live’. You might be better off marking them as spam or junk.
