Crystal Dilmar: 1/5 Stars 01/02/2019 Was told wasn't paying for different reasons Zurich is absolutely terrible my husband totaled our car our insurance paid 90% of the car to the Finaince company which they were using this scam of a company for gap insurance. Was told my the Finaince company Zurich wouldn't pay because of "mileage" spoke to a customer service representative myself was told " previous damage" asked for our contract to be mailed still haven't gotten it over 2months. Being constantly harassed by the Finaince company which choose this insurance that we were paying for over 3 years for absolutely no reason. Still haven't gotten any results. Im lawyering up! We refuse to pay the remaining balance!! Zurich Insurance has not yet responded. Irena Adams: 1/5 Stars 21/02/2019 Failed to progress claim After a fall at Borough Market my compensation claim was sent to Zurich insurers who used the best of 5 month not making any steps to resolve the Claim. Now the 3 year after accident limit is approaching which means my claim will be void. Help, I need to make a complaint asap. Zurich Insurance has not yet responded. Brian Fisher: 1/5 Stars 13/01/2019 Nasty and inhuman This company has rejected my wife’s claim for compensation following a very serious accident which was due to a defect in the maintenance of its client’s pedestrian walkway. She suffered three broken ribs, a punctured lung, a chipped hipbone, bruises and infections which led to her being admitted to an Intensive Care hospital ward. Zurich refuse to pay compensation on the pretext that the defect was TWO MILLIMETRES less depth than they accepted was a defect. Please, please stay away from this outfit who care for nothing other than profit. Zurich Insurance has not yet responded. Rob Caruso: 1/5 Stars 21/05/2018 Hopeless Situation I had to have an emergency laminectomy on my c3 to c7 vertebra in july 17 and was left with paulsy of the left arm. I just received a formal ruling from the ombudsman stating that Zurich unnecessarily delayed processing my claim and they over investigated me. this process took approx 6 months which was just enough time to be put into foreclosure on the land for my family home, move my autistic daughters out of our rental and into a tiny granny flat completely disrupting their environment and putting my youngest in hospital for 4 weeks. she also has not been able to attend school for this year so far. With all the added pressure and stress to my family, after 27 years of marriage my wife and i separated. Ive now had to lodge another complaint with FOS to find out why i never get regular payments and everytime i get a payment the amount is different and makes no sense. So im financially ruined, separated from my wife and 2 autistic daughters, suffering chronic pain and i require further surgery. My dilemma now is that Zurich have proven to be unreliable and did everything possible to not take liability. How do I now take the risk of further surgery and the high possibility of loosing the use of my legs or even worse - die on the operating table knowing that im fully covered and my family will be looked after given the above? Im also not able to change insurer as no other insurer will take me on with my injuries. Zurich Insurance responded on 25/05/2018: Sorry to read this. James Lyons: 1/5 Stars 08/08/2015 They laughed, you can`t be serious. When the assessor never turned up on the day and came a day when I was not there I complained, a few days later i was told that the complaint had not been logged as it was`nt serious. anyway the scope of works that are water damage to the property did not cover the amount of damage "this is ongoing", the their company MA assist seem not to know what they are doing and still do not respond to my queries.
