Dim Rooney apologises but it can only be a matter of weeks before both the wife and Derby give him the boot.

There is only one person thicker in the Rooney household than Wayne and that must be his wife Coleen.
Why she has put up with his drunken behaviour with other women is beyond analysis. It can’t be the money as his big earning days are behind him and there is still enough sploshing around the Rooney bank to keep her in holidays post divorce for the rest of her life.
Last night Rooney apologised to his family after photos emerged of the Derby County manager partying and falling asleep in a budget hotel bedroom with young scantily clad women.
In an attempt to put a lid on the whole affair he paid £1 to the three party girls for the copyright so that nobody else could publish them and embarrass Coleen and his four children.
Clearly he also fears that the fallout of the scandal is likely to cost him his job at Derby.

After winning a friendly football match against a Spanish side unusually he sought out Sky Sports News and told ; “I made a mistake. I went to a private party with two of my friends.”
Actually it was a Manchester night club while the missus was away in North Wales with the kids.
He went on; “I’d like to apologise to my family and the club for the images which were going round and I want to move forward on this (I’m sure he does).
I’m grateful to Derby County for giving me this opportunity to get this club back where it belongs”.
One source close to Derby said; “How can he lead a group of young men when he cannot appear to control himself in public during a night out.”
My bet is that Derby can’t wait to dump him and it will only take a maximum of two poor results at the beginning of the season - they play Huddersfield on August 7 and Peterborough on the 14th - for him to be on his way.
Then he will be home full time with the missus. Bet she can’t wait for that.
