According to the Times senior police officers have been told to name and shame middle class drug users in a crackdown on recreational use, especially cocaine.

I am delighted to hear it. The reality is that cocaine use among the wealthy is out of control.

I know of a very famous businessman who threw a birthday party for his wife where his wife handed out packets of cocaine to the guests.

A senior police officer said the order to get after the middle classes had come from Home Secretary Priti Patel.

The spokesman said; “We have been told to go after high value individuals to arrest those who see drugs as part of their lifestyle and don’t believe there will be any ramifications.”

Certainly if the name I have been given was arrested it would have a dramatic effect on their business and personal position.
