​Nick Knowles, the builder turned BBC star who fronts DIY SOS is said to be facing the chop because he has chosen to appear in the Shreddies TV ad wearing a hard hat.

Knowles had been warned that he would lose the gig if he took the money from Shreddies which I estimate at around £500K-750K.
