She’s a law student, a mother of two but what makes different is that she will stand up for herself. She is studying law at the University of Abertay in Dundee. She and her classmates were discussing gender and feminism. During the seminar Ms Keogh, 29, said women are born with vaginas and transwomen should not be able to compete against women in mixed martial arts because of their superior strength. Disgracefully her classmates complained about her views. And even worse the university started disciplinary procedures which could lead to either a reprimand or unbelievably being kicked out. Ms Keogh is a member of the Free Speech Union and therefor has support against these bullies. She said; “ This has been hanging over me for a month and its been extremely stressful particularly as its coincided with my final law exams. “My comments in class weren’t intended to offend or discriminate against anyone. I was just expressing what I thought was a mainstream point of view.” “Abertay says it believes in free speech. Why then have I been put through this ordeal?” A very good point. This clapped out university has damaged itself. End the disciplinary action now. READ MORE: Click here to read more articles from Kelvin MacKenzie
