Marilyn Hill, from Kent, saved £70 on her car insurance | SEARCH FOR YOUR BEST CAR INSURANCE QUOTE NOW In many ways Nigel Farage has been the most important politician since Thatcher. Boris helped but without Farage the Brexit vote would never would never have happened. Now he has moved on from politics to be the lead presenter on GB News where he hosts an hour long show every night. And what a success he is. He started his 7pm one hour how on Monday. His audience peaked at 96,000 while his opposite number, Dermot Murnaghan on Sky News, hit 74,000. Tuesday was the same story. Farage 99,000, Murnaghan 63,000. Wednesday; Farage 83,000, Murnaghan 70,000. Thursday; Farage 78,000, Murnaghan 60,000. The station has only been going a matter of weeks and already it’s stuffing Sky News which has been around for almost 30 years and cost its parent company £1billion. But before Farage hangs up his political boots I wonder if I could prevail on him to lead one last battle. To force Boris and Priti to solve the invasion of illegal immigrants from across the Channel. In an important piece of research by The Times this morning, the paper estimates that 22,000 of illegals (yes 22,000, the size of a small UK town) will have landed on our shores by the year end. And that’s not to mention the thousands who will arrive hidden in the back of lorries. This is serious. And yet I get the impression that Boris views social care as more important. He is wrong and would have to break a manifesto pledge to increase tax or NI to achieve it. All the while more and more illegals end up in camps and hotels dotted around the country. The nation will not stand for it. Farage should campaign big time on his show. That would do two things. It would increase his ratings and therefore force Boris to listen. I am a big fan of Priti but unless she has the full support of the PM nothing of a substantial nature will get done. I believe big time in the Rwanda solution where, in exchange for the money we currently give the hopeless French police, Rwanda will set up camp for the illegals. Immediately these people discover they are heading to Africa rather than the land of milk and honey, the boats will no longer leave the harbour. Problem solved. Rwanda will like the money and the UK will be able to sleep easier. What is there not to like? PS If you plan to buy either car or home insurance I wonder if you might look at my small price comparison site A Spokesman Said as we earn a little commission from each sale which helps fund the research and editorial costs of running the site. It has the same offer as the big ones like Go Compare. Thank you.
