We are all used to the Jew haters in the Labour party. Now they have found another minority to target; the Hindus.

The Batley and Spens by-election to be held on Thursday has descended into a divisive hell for Starmer from which I am certain will spell the end of his leadership.

The arrival of George Galloway into the fray of this West Yorkshire constituency has exposed the racist wing of Labour.

The Muslims like Galloway because he has always supported the Palestinian cause.

And in Batley and Spens that matters as there are 8,600 Muslims who can vote and the Labour majority is only 3,000 plus. Normally they are nodding dogs when it comes to the Labour candidate but Starmer has been ambivalent on some of the  Kashmir and Palestinian arguments so it looks certain he will have lost a majority of the Islam supporters.

​To push back some bright socialist idiot  came up with the bright idea of issuing a flyer in the mainly Pakistani area of the constituency showing a photo of Boris Johnson shaking hands with the Indian Prime Minister Narenda Modi.

It was a racially divisive point. Mr Modi is a Hindu and Muslims dislike him intensely. It is due in part to their different views about the Kashmir but there is historical enmity.

​Why Labour should worry about the Tories is beyond me. Its Galloway they should be concerned about.

Labour Friends of India saw the flyer for what it was and said;” We ask the Labour Party to withdraw  the leaflet immediately and we will be writing to the leadership about this.”

Over time Hindus have grown warmer to the Tories and in the May Mayoral elections in London a majority voted Tory in some neighbourhoods. Quite remarkable.

​On Radio 4’s Today programme and there have been two senior Labour politicians on of late and each has been asked if Batley goes Tory will they back Starmer.

The answer wasn’t no but it wasn’t yes either. He is done for.
